Our journey began as a specialized Infrastructure, DevOps, and Middleware contractor in the Game Industry, collaborating with leading studios and small indie developers on a wide range of projects.

These projects covered areas such as source code control, documentation, quality assurance, automation & testing, tooling, networking, and cloud solutions. Our dynamic toolset and ability to deep dive into complex challenges allowed us to thrive in this fast-paced industry.

The inception of Wsad.io can be traced back to Ivan’s experience working with renowned companies like IGG, Shoal Games, and various indie studios across Toronto, Vancouver, Ireland, the UK, and other parts of the world. This global exposure shaped our ethos and commitment to delivering exceptional services to clients worldwide.

As time went on, Wsad.io expanded its horizons beyond the game industry, diversifying into legacy infrastructure and development work. We ventured into domain sales and management, website hosting, service hosting, app hosting, and software development spanning desktop, server, mobile, and embedded devices.

This expansion enabled us to meet the diverse needs of our clients and maintain steady growth.

Within three years of operation, we embarked on a new journey by partnering and co-founding NoCo, an investment and finance arm that opened doors to the decentralized community. This partnership led us to embrace cutting-edge technologies such as Helium, Solana, Handshake DNS, SCPrime, and Polygon, providing innovative solutions to traditional service challenges.

Today, Wsad.io still retains its roots in the gaming industry while extending its influence to various emerging technologies such as AI, VR, AR, Big Data, Telecoms, Cloud, IoT, and 5G. We have transitioned from a traditional corporation to a DAO governed on the Solana Blockchain, embracing the principles of decentralization and innovation.

Our operational footprint primarily covers British Columbia, Canada, with a strong presence in the Greater Vancouver area and Lower Mainland, including the picturesque Sea to Sky and the Sunshine Coast. In Ireland, we are expanding into the Midlands, with strategic partnerships already underway in Kilkenny and Laos.

Our mission in this region is to build robust IoT and Mobile 5G Infrastructure around the Helium Network, focusing on key opportunities in targeted demographic areas. Additionally, in Canada, we are committed to extending IoT coverage across vast territories while adopting decentralized 5G solutions to tackle connectivity issues in remote areas and underserved communities.
