I have gotten at least like 5 DMs that were obvious crypto scams. And i was wondering if theres a way not only to avoid them, but take back from them too. One scammer in particular I remember he was inviting me to his like group of investors or whatever to like help invest stuff and gain money. I knew he was a scammer but i went along then i said “how can i know you are not a scammer” he of course said i needed to trust him then i offered il trust him if he sends me 5$ in BTC because a scammer wouldn’t accept to do so. What i was trying to do is making the scammer invest in his scam, thinking he’l give me 5$ in btc to then drain my whole “big” portfolio. Unfortunately it did not work as he stopped responding after I insisted, but i feel like this method or some other similar might work on some scammers, and basically get to scam a scammer. submitted by /u/thespygorillas [link] [comments]
